Guests to have B2B meetings with exhibitors as part of International Inbound Mission arranged by Ateval – Home Textiles from Spain supported by IVACE + i Internacional and ICEX.
Textilhogar Home Textiles Premium is putting the final touches to preparations for this upcoming, special edition, which takes place from 30th September to 3rd October at Feria Valencia, once again alongside Feria Hábitat València and the Espacio Cocina SICI showcase that will be brimming with kitchen furniture and equipment. A major event centred on the interiors macro-industry that will bring together almost a thousand international companies and brands, 150 of which will be exhibiting at Textilhogar.
One of these companies’ main objectives in exhibiting at Tetilhogsr is to open new markets abroad. In this regard, the fair is again this year benefitting from an International Inbound Mission arranged by trade association ATEVAL – Home Textiles from Spain. The initiative is being supported IVACE + i Internacional and ICEX and is designed to bring to the fair foreign buyers and specifiers who have substantial purchasing power and are of significant interest to the companies exhibiting.
For this year, the initiative has recruited more than 80 buyers and specifiers to visit from a total of 38 countries, all of which are of special significance and offer particular potential for ‘made in Spain’ textiles. The cohort of buyers visiting Textilhogar 2024 as guests will be coming from the following 38 countries: Algeria, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Ghana, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Ivory Coast, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Norway, Poland, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Slovenia, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, the United States of America, Uruguay and Vietnam.
In addition to these buyers, opinion leaders from specialist interiors, décor and contract sector media in Colombia, Italy and Lebanon will also be visiting, to see Textilhogar 2024’s offering at first hand.
In all, as the director of ATEVAL – Home Textiles Premium’s International Development Department, Leila Bachetarzi, points out, this group of buyers and specifiers offers “a very attractive profile for exhibitors because it includes distributors, manufacturers of upholstered furniture and heads of purchasing for major companies on the one hand and specifiers (architects, decorators and interior designers) from the leading design practices linked to the textile sector who are interested in developing contacts in the contract business”.
As Bachetarzi says, being open to new markets “is almost compulsory for our companies” and in this regard “platforms such as that offered by Textilhogar are a great means of discovering business opportunities, especially with they run concurrently with events like Feria Hábitat València and Espacio Cocina SICI. Taken together, we constitute a major event that is very attractive to international buyers”.
Textile hall to be major attraction at Feria Valencia this year
Whilst the joint offering is indeed very powerful, another of the major attractions at this year’s edition of Textilhogar, in Hall 3 Level 3, is that as well as the products the industry is showing, the hall also features two major design and cutting-edge installations that are expected to attract thousands of visitors.
One is the ‘Orange Forest’ installation by Valencian creative Sigfrido Serra, which offers a textile experience based on Valencian tradition and includes the AITEX trends zone. The other, also in the same hall, is the ‘Hotel Hábitat’ project, for which architect Héctor Ruiz has re-created different types of hotel room and that will be the venue for a series of talks, by designers and hotel chains, arranged by the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero ITH.
A unique offering with international appeal
From 30th September to 3rd October Feria Valencia will be hosting the three leading furniture, lighting, décor, home textiles and kitchen equipment trade fairs simultaneously: Feria Hábitat València, Textilhogar Home Textiles Premium and Espacio Cocina SICI. The three events comprise Spain’s most extensive showcase for the home and the contract sector, configured on a large scale and drawing a huge Spanish and international audience – a successful formula that this year is showcasing almost 1000 companies and brands across 96,000 square metres of exhibition space, with around 40,000 professionals expected to attend from 70 countries.
