Online press registration is now open for Smart City Expo World Congress 2018

Information Professionals who wish to cover Smart City Expo World Congress (13-15 November 2018) must apply for a press/analyst pass in order to gain access to the venue, the exhibition area, congress sessions and other activities held during the event.

To complete the online press registration  you need to provide evidence that you work for the media by submitting the documents listed below, which can be sent as an attachment or as a link. The following rules for registration are applicable to national and International journalists, photographers and camera operators belonging to daily and non-daily outlets as well as online media.

Requests must provide one of the following:

• Copy of of a valid press pass from graphic and written press organizations, association, colleges and unions registered in Spain, as well as international organizations belonging to the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ).
   
• A copy of the masthead from a current issue of your publication that shows your name listed as part of the reporting team.
   
• Link to your publication’s website that shows your name listed as part of the reporting team.
   
• Written confirmation from the editor in chief (original letterhead with address and phone number) or with a recently signed article or piece of work.
   
• Recent bylined articles.

Representatives from Journalism schools or school newspapers can apply for a one-day invitation on presentation of a copy of the paper or an authorization from a teacher with the university or school letterhead

Press registration can only be collected once the trade show has begun and expires once the event is over.

Fira de Barcelona reserves the authority to exercise its rights with regard to press registration regulations.

These regulations are only valid for shows organized by Fira de Barcelona.
