Feria Hábitat València announces dates for next edition: 19 - 22 September 2023

01/12/2022

The event has consolidated its slot – the third week of September – in the international calendar of industry-specific trade fairs following sustained growth over recent editions.

Feria Hábitat Valencia (FHV) will again run alongside Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar and is aiming, for 2023, to grow the number of high-level international exhibitors taking part.

Dates have now been announced for the next edition of FHV. The foremost fair for ‘made in Spain’ interiors, which in recent years has become established as the main international showcase for Spain’s interiors industry, is set to hold its next edition at Feria Valencia from 19th to 22nd September 2023.

Taking place in the third week of September again means that Feria Hábitat Valencia retains its strong position as one of the key events on the global circuit of fairs for this industry. The dates are well suited to manufacturers’ and distributors’ commercial dynamics and also mean exhibitors and visitors can enjoy the mild autumn in the highly attractive city of Valencia.

Sustained, continued growth

As it looks ahead to the 2023 event, Feria Hábitat València is riding high, with the most recent edition having outperformed its most optimistic expectations and been qualified by many as “historic”, after 48,000 professionals visited and more than 600 companies exhibited. In this sense, each edition of the interiors fair has recorded growth in the region of 30% since the organisers decided in 2017 to move the fair back to September after running it alongside Cevisama and Fimma-Maderalia for a few years.

Feria Hábitat Valencia taking place in 2022 whilst Valencia celebrates being World Design Capital has been a stimulus for the entire industry “which needs to push ahead at the next edition of the fair,” explains its director, Daniel Marco. “Feria Hábitat València 2023 will continue to contribute to our industry’s growth by offering a unique showcase where design and quality will again be what identify us”, Marco explains.

Feria Hábitat Valencia’s director also points out that the Feria Valencia exhibition will be aiming to be “fully international” in 2023 on account of both its potential to be “a platform for our exhibitors to do business and drive exports through the network of international contacts they make at the fair” and “how appealing Feria Hábitat Valencia is as a setting to high end international manufacturers”.

In this sense, Daniel Marco himself and a specialist Feria Hábitat Valencia team have had a number of meetings over the last few weeks with business representatives and manufacturers in France and Portugal specifically to prepare for the next edition of Feria Hábitat Valencia.

Alongside Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar again

The next edition of FHV takes place from 19th to 22nd September and will coincide once again with Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar, a very select, quality showcase of the foremost suppliers of home textiles, upholstery and textiles for the contract sector. The synergies between this offering and that of Feria Hábitat Valencia (furniture, upholstery, decorative items, sleep, lighting and garden furniture) will create a showcase that is sure to be highly attractive to international professionals, as evidenced at this year’s fair, which also featured the kitchen sector. The latter will not be part of the 2023 fair as it is only included every two years.

Feria Hábitat Valencia is the leading international showcase for Spain’s interiors industry, featuring an extensive range of furniture, lighting, decorative items, upholstery and sleep. Every year it hosts more than 600 Spanish and international companies and the most recent edition welcomed more than 48,000 visitors, all professionals, from 70 countries. In 2023 it will take place alongside  Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar.
