Highlights of the agenda include the 12th Beauty Congress Micropigmentation Master Class and Masajes del Mundo (Massages of the World) workshops

Salón Look, International Image and Integral Aesthetics Exhibition, organised by IFEMA, will next take place from 18 to 20 October, featuring an extensive business section and a comprehensive programme of parallel training activities for professionals and attendees to share knowledge and techniques, and benefit from training in the latest sector developments. So, for the three days of the fair, renowned national and international experts in different fields like aesthetic medicine, make-up, marketing, psychology and beauty will share their knowledge and experience with attendees. Highlights of the agenda include the 12th Beauty Congress the Micropigmentation Master Classes and the Masajes del Mundo (Massages of the World) workshops.
The 12th Beauty Congress
The Beauty Congress is one of the biggest Spanish-speaking beauty events. The 12th edition will be a meeting of outstanding experts and will take place throughout the day on 19 October at IFEMA - Feria de Madrid, with technical assistance from Consuelo Silveira, one of the best-known beauticians in Spain. Among the subjects addressed at the coming edition will be “New active ingredients for eliminating dark spots on the skin”; “Genital rejuvenation”; "Is it me or is it really hot in here?”; “Equipment: the latest advantages in anti-ageing technology”; “Professional markers”; “Franchises in the beauty sector, a future option”; “Segment to sell. How to conduct effective advertising campaigns and promotions. My brand image”; “Do what you are afraid of. Reflections on insecurity”, among others.
These subjects will be presented and discussed by important experts, among whom are Dr Ricardo Ruíz and Dr Santiago Palacios; journalists Charo Izquierdo, Marta Robles and Laura Ruiz de la Galarreta; beauticians, Isabel Lostao, Paz Torralba, Silvia Olieteand Consuelo Silveira; the president of FANAE, Rosa María Cruz; entrepreneur Sandra Benzaquén, trainer Gabriela Bolh and journalist Marta Robles.
The congress will conclude with the first awards ceremony for the Best Signature Protocol, the purpose of which is to raise the profile of beauty professionals.
The congress costs 60 euros for all professionals registering before 31 July. After 31 August, the price will increase to 75 euros. This sum includes admission to all congress seminars, lunch, entrance to Salón Look, a participation diploma and parking.
Masajes del Mundo (Massages of the World) workshops
At this new edition of the Massages of the World workshops, Salón Look will include the latest facial and body massage techniques from Argentina, Chile, Korea, the United States and Spain, all taught by outstanding experts. These workshops, also coordinated by the beautician Consuelo Silveira, will be held throughout the day on 20 October. The Massages of the World programme will be divided into six blocks, each featuring a different country. Chile will be represented by the Integrative Systemic Massage for face and body by Juan Guillermo Bahamond; Argentina, Ayurvedic Craniosacral Massage by Valeria Ayala; United States, Esalen Massage by Xavier Gil; Korea, The Secrets of the Orient, by Elisa Wong; and Spain, Mioyoga Massage, with Consuelo Silveria and Pre and Post operative DLM, managed by Juan de Dios Pérez Bruzon.
The Massages of the World workshops will take place from 10 am to 6.30 pm. The price is 175 euros, including all modalities, and lunch, admission to Salón Look, parking, an attendance diploma, a video summary of the workshops, free registration at the 12th Beauty Congress and the Awards Ceremony for the Best Signature Protocol.

Master Class Micropigmentation 2019
Sálon Look 2019s programme of training activities will also include the Micropigmentation Master Class , where the content will focus on opening new business opportunities. Throughout the three-day event, professionals who have registered will learn different application techniques, in a programme divided into four blocks. The first block will take place on 18 October and will be entitled “Hair-by-hair eyebrow toning – Mediterranean effect, Mediterranean Eyebrows”, from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm and “Natural Lips", from 2.30 pm to 7.30 pm, both by Dora Marcano, an Italian beautician and dermopigmentist.
The second block will be on 19 October and will focus on “STRETCH MARKS: Recovery and cell activation. Meso-Touch method ”, from 10 am to 2 pm, courtesy of Andrea G. Boskovicova, international trainer for Euro Touch. The third block will be held on Sunday, 20 October, “Eyebrows: Design, colour, corrections”, 10 am to 2 pm, also by Andrea G. Boskovicova,
Registration is individual for each workshop. Tickets for this activity can only be purchased until 11 October at www.ifema.es/salonlook and each workshop costs 175 euros.
Salón Look, the Iberian Peninsulas undisputed leader
The upcoming edition of Salón Look, the undisputed leader of the Iberian Peninsula and one of the most important on the European circuit, will take place from 18 to 20 October 2019 in Halls 2, 12 and 14 at Feria de Madrid. A total of 400 exhibitor companies and over 1,300 national and international brands are expected to be on display.
Salon Look will be open all day from 10 am to 8 pm.
